...le glisser/déposer est pourri car il vous demande pour chaque fichier de donner un chemin de destination, c’est super lourd si par mégarde vous glisser d’un coup 50 morceau, vous allez vous pendre !!! impossible de convertir les .CUE pour les fichiers multi-pistes comme les FLAC, APE... ...but drag & drop works strangely, you should select an output folder for every tracks, don’t drag a lot of tracks at the same time, wou will hang yourself !!! and impossible to convert with CUE file for multi-tracks files like FLAC, APE…

Ive bought it to keep all my library as m4a-aac, and as we all know, iTunes converts it, but makes it a duplicate. I thought that through sound converter Id be able to convert all my files before importing them to iTunes. Problem is, it only converts to ALAC (Apple Lossless) encoding, making the files HUGE. Even when I specify that I need the conversion to be AAC, it makes it ALAC. Tried contacting the developer, no answer til now. And am afraid of buying another converter as theres no trial! There should be at least a standard 7-day trial to every app at the App Store.

Simple to use, and works just fine. The variety of formats you can convert from/to is really good!!

I like SoundConverter very much; it is very useful and easy to work with. But be aware that the license is valid only for one installation; if you are planning to have a new computer, wait until you have it to get the license.

I have a WAV file with 1 hour and 43 minutes, and when converted to MP3 (after three attempts - 2 in errors), it end up generating a file of 2 hours and 50 minutes, totally crazy... I really dont recommend.

SoundConverter is not functioning properly: For instance, the batch converting from FLAC to mp3 does not work. Support did not respond.

This App doesnt work! It doesnt Convert FLAC => AAC

The app couldn´t convert wma and flac into aac. A waste of money!

Artists tag entry goes lost during conversion. Tested from flac to wav, from flac to m4a, from m4a to wav. There are better programs doing the same task that are also free.

flac to alac ( apple lossless ) conversion doesnt work ! email support doesnt reply to emails. please fix it !

If you are trying to convert audio formats for iTunes, this app has been a waste of money for me. FLAC files do not appear to be able to be converted into anything other than VBR mp3 format… which ends up being at an unlistenable bit rate (and this from a great high-quality 320 encoding!). Selecting AAC and MP4 stall with error messages when I try into convert to those formats. Developer support? The "Troubleshooting" site is four, yes an entire, pithy FOUR bullet-point paragraphs long (including gems like "reboot your machine and try again"!) I wish I hadnt been the first reviewer - another reviewer would have warned me off this app, and told be to spend the tenner on an expensive imported pint at the pub. I might try EasyWMA next, as Ive used it before successfully - however, Id try the free conversion tools (FFmpeg and LAME)... or just give up and have a cold beer. Youd still be ahead of the game.

I bought this app to convert flac to alac; it does this perfectly, and efficently. Thanks for making a simple software that works.

I bought this app to convert .voc files from my RCA VR5220 series digital audio recorder, which it does quite well.

Whats there to say? Its simple and to the point! All Apps should be this easy.

Ive been using SoundConverter to create ogg files for Asterisk server over several years. Its always done a great job and Im glad to see it now in the MacApp store.

Always crashes if u drag and drop a folder with flacs to decode…. itve been like this since a year already, for the love of god fix it already.

I was able to successfuly batch convert a few folders of .caf files to .ogg. I was very pleased however now it crashes every time I drag a file on to it for conversion. Frustrating as it is the only converter that does not add a space at the beginning and end of the .caf file.
