Pretty much what everyone else is saying. Crashes constantly, it’s clumsy and many times just plain doesn’t work. I’ve wasted 10 bucks on worse things before…but not many.

This was once a favorite app of mine, but since upgrading to Mavericks, it does nothing but crash. Repeated emails to the author receives no reply. Seems this app is no longer being maintained. It’s really tragic, because the bugs I’m experiencing have nothing to do with anything other than drag ’n drop and windowing behavior. The core functionality of transcoding/encoding remain functional. Steve, why don’t you open source it or sell it to someone who can maintain it?
Not very impressive. Go look up XLD, its far better.
Have been using this program for years, over several machines, and an glad to see it here in the App Store. Worth a download. Quick and easy to use. The best conversion program I’ve used.
You sir. Are a god among men. I sit here crying with tears of joy and euphoria. It converts everything. Even the forsaken voc. files that had driven many a men to insanity is graced by your programing touch. Simple to find, simple to use, SImple to phrase.
Working on a mac. I created a folder on my desktop. Then I copied all my music folder from itunes to the desktop folder. They were m4a files. Then i launched this program. There is the green icon that pops up when you lauch the program. You have to drag and drop the file you want to convert into green icon! Then the icon will open up a new folder. At the top of the you can see faintly saying Where you want the mp3s to go? I put them back into the folder i have on my desktop. It then created mp3s in that folder. Now you have to close the folder and start again where you drop the folder back into the green x .. you cant leave this new folder up or it will crash. Just reopen it if it crashes but it will convert many songs at once. I like it and it was very easy to use. Just watch the top of the folder b/c it will tell you what its doing.
Doesn’t seem to be able to convert sf2 files to wav files even though it says it can in the app description… Please help!!
Keeps crashing on Yosemite. Only works if you out no more than 2 songs at once for it to convert.
The app crashes so much its worthless. I told the developer and instead of fixing it I believe they said they woudl just pull it. I woudl fix the issues as the app has potential. I said as much in an email exchange.
I love this app. My needs are simple and I have been using another tool. This app is better in 2 ways: it is way faster; it gives me CBR mp3s instead of VBR as the other tool does. I’m using Mac OS X 10.9.5, and converting flac files to mp3. It is fantastic, and totally easy to use. Thank you, dev, and good luck with whatever you get into next.
This used to be my go to app for converting music. From WAV to MP3 to FLAC to SND conversion, this was it! It was perfect for converting 24 bit to 16 bit samples to use in older music samplers. Now all of a sudden it stopped working. What gives???
doesn’t convert any of my old SD2 files whatsoever.
This app is very useful. It supports the OGG format. This is useful for creating custom minecraft sounds because minecraft only supports OGG sounds. It is so simple to use! This is the only free audio converter that supports lots of formats I’ve seen on the app store.
I tried dragging a folder full of files to convert. Crashed the program. Tried to drag in multiple selected files. Crashed the program.
